about

This blog is about the happy things I saw at the working class area of Puente de Vallecas, in Madrid, Spain.  A unique neighbourhood with a strong character.

Galletas is a pun with the word Vallecas.  “Galletas” is Spanish for cookies and I like renamed the area Puente Galletas (“Cookies Bridge”), like this blog.

All the photographs have been taken by Amaya Uscola, and you may use them if you mention and refer them this to blog. Hope you enjoy.
